The eyes of this fish are masked by a colored band, and it has an eyespot at the back of its body that attracts predators to a part of the body without vital organs. It is popular among aquarists, but it requires prey of a suitable size, preferably live.

The blue-green Chromis is a fish that lives in large schools above dense coral areas. At the slightest alarm, this swift fish takes refuge in the colonies of branching corals. The Blue-green Chromis is common throughout the Indo-Pacific region.

The goldtail damselfish is a tropical fish native to the Indian Ocean and the southern tropical zone of the Pacific Ocean. Like many of its kind, this species lives in small aggregations among the branches of "stag horn" corals.

Ctenochaetus striatus, elegantly named the "striated surgeonfish", is found in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific, particularly in the lagoons of La Réunion and Mauritius. In Tahiti, during the full moon, this fish displays a natural spectacle: large schools form, and after a brief moment of stillness, each individual breaks away to release eggs or sperm.

The whitetail Dascyllus resides in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region and the Red Sea. This white reef fish striped with three black bands is often found in large groups above massive colonies of staghorn corals. It feeds on zooplankton, benthic invertebrates, and algae. During the breeding season, males choose the nest and perform a dance just above it as a courtship display. The female is then invited and escorted to the nest where spawning takes place.

The long-spine porcupinefish is a pufferfish found in the majority of tropical and subtropical marine areas around the globe. Juveniles can be found in small groups. As they age, this species becomes more solitary. Specialized in hunting mollusks and small crustaceans, this fish exhibits a seemingly clumsy swimming behavior.

The atlantic nurse shark is found in the Atlantic Ocean, from the Gulf of Mexico to southern Brazil. It spends most of the day resting under rocky shelters or in caves. This nocturnal predator feeds mainly on crustaceans, sea urchins, mollusks, and fish. It is oviparous and reaches sexual maturity at around 220 cm.

In some languages, this fish is called the "birdmouth wrasse" because of its hopping swimming, its long pectoral fins and a long "nose". It is hermaphrodite and changes sex and color in it life. Juveniles and females have two colors, while males are blue.

The checkerboard wrasse inhabits the slopes and sandy expanses of lagoons and coral reefs. Its diet primarily consists of prey with tough shells. It can be observed at depths of up to around 30 meters

The magnificent sea anemone is found in a large part of the Indo-Pacific region. With individuals reaching nearly one meter in diameter, this species is one of the most impressive anemones in the animal kingdom. In many areas, clownfish, immune to their venom, live in symbiosis with these animals, protected by their tentacles.

This eel-like fish digs a tunnel in the sand leaving only the front of it body out. The garden eels live in a colony of several hundred individuals, where ocean currents carry the plankton on which they feed. At the slightest sign of danger, garden eels entirely hide in its shelter.
